🍦 SWEET SENIOR MOMENTS🍦

Our incredible seniors got to indulge in a delicious treat today as they created their own ice cream sundaes during advisory! Sprinkles flew, chocolate sauce drizzled, and smiles were abundant!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing All Things Senior Committee parents who volunteered their time to make this special memory happen. Your dedication to creating these moments of joy for our seniors is truly appreciated!

Senior year is all about making memories, and thanks to our wonderful parent volunteers, today was definitely one for the books!

 

🌎 International Pot Luck🌎

Get ready for our International Pot Luck during advisory on Tuesday, April 29th, at 11:35 am in the Social Hall!

We're celebrating our awesome community by sharing dishes from our various cultural backgrounds. Every senior is invited to bring a special dish from home that represents your family, heritage, or simply something delicious you love to share!

What to bring: Any dish that's meaningful to you - appetizers, main courses, sides, or desserts welcome!

How to participate: Sign up using this link or scan the QR code on the flyer to let us know what you'll be bringing.

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore different cuisines and learn more about each other as we create lasting memories in our final year together!

Senior Sunset Celebration

Seniors, join us for a magical evening at Venice Pier on May 9th as we watch the sun dip below the horizon and celebrate your incredible journey! Hosted by the All Things Senior Committee, this special gathering invites you to sink your toes in the sand, share memories, and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by our wonderful parent volunteers. Come make lasting memories with your classmates as we cherish these final precious weeks of your senior year together!

Schedule for the Day:
9:30 a.m.HS students load bus at WISH Academy with gowns on (Janet)
9:50 am- ES Students line up outside their classrooms, ready for high-five parade (Jessica)
10:00 am- ASB President leads processions through ES with speaker/music
10:00 am- Van with podium; mic/speaker, graduation procedures binder, to-go lunches from Lunch program, and 55 chairs for graduates to practice sitting and standing, and walking the processional goes to Bandshell and is set up (Andrew/Adria)
10:20 am HS students load bus and head to Playa Vista Bandshell (Landon/Draxton)
10:45 am HS students arrive and sit on the stage, Ms. Landon reviews rehearsal procedures
11:00 Students rehearse for graduation (Landon)
12:00 Students do Time Capsule activity (Draxton)
12:15 Bus takes students to Westchester Park
12:30 Students eat lunch
1:00 Senior Games
3:15 Students load onto the bus and return to campus for early dismissal

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Location: Playa Vista Bandshell

Time: 5:00 pm-6:30 pm

Each family will be provided 4 formal chairs for seating. Additional seating is available for more guests on the grass incline. Guests may bring low-sitting, outdoor chairs or blankets to sit on.

Parking: Use a nearby parking structure (Approximately $10.00 or use Rideshare!)

 

 

 

 

 

Make sure you are on track to get updates once you graduate. Mr. Ilko has provided a spreadsheet for all seniors to complete with your name, cell phone number, and personal email. You many also email him directly with this information to: [email protected]. Each year WISH Academy hosts a Winter Alumni Connection Party at Bowlero!
