Company Donation Match
We are a generous community, and our families have always given so much to WISH, both in their time and in their donations. With that in mind, we want to make sure you're reaping all the benefits of your monetary donations to WISH.
Many companies will match a 501(c)3 donation, doubling your gift to a charity or non-profit! It's a huge boost to a good cause. Your donations to WISH count as we are designated a 501(c)3. Corporations like Google, Apple, Boeing, Kaiser Permanente, and Wells Fargo match employee donations. Does your employer? If you don't know, click HERE for a list of companies that do. You can also click HERE and type your company name into the Search Bar to see if they give.
If your employer is on the list, be sure to submit your donation receipts or verifications to your HR department or Corporate Social Responsibility team. Otherwise, it's like leaving money on the table!
If your company does not have a donation match program, you may want to suggest it. Take a look at this article on how companies can benefit from a matching program. You can also reach out to your human resources contact and ask if they would like to make a one-time match, explaining why WISH (or your charitable cause) is so important to you. Businesses big and small are always looking for ways to give back--you're just guiding them to the causes that mean the most to you.
As always, any donation to WISH (whether through the Annual Giving Fund, an auction donation, or the Gratitude Fund) is tax-deductible, so be sure to save your donation receipts for tax time.
