We look forward to welcoming parents, caregivers, relatives, and community members to volunteer at WISH Community and WISH Academy. We invite volunteers to support us in a variety of ways, such as leading and supporting at WISH events, helping in the classroom, supporting various programs and committees, and working with us both on and off campus. Volunteering can look different for everybody, so find your niche and join us in enhancing our community!

 

Recurring WISH volunteers need to complete an online application and provide documentation before they can volunteer on campus and with students.  Single event volunteers do not need to complete an application but will need to be cleared through Megan's Law to be allowed to work on campus or with our students.  Volunteers may also provide volunteer service from their residence, which may include cutting, sorting, or alphabetizing papers for a teacher, computer-based work, etc.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Please be prepared to upload the following required materials.  An application is only considered complete if we have received all documentation. 

• A current tuberculosis test or TB clearance through a medical provider. This document must be uploaded to the application.  You can download the approved clearance form for your medical provider to complete HERE. Please note that TB tests are only valid for a 4 year period. Please ensure your documentation is within the correct timeframe.
• Any volunteer who may be driving students at any time must also provide their current auto insurance card and a valid driver's license.  This will also be uploaded to the application.
