Get ready for the Annual Rock Roll & Run

WISH is excited to participate in this year's Rock Roll & Run for Education on the beautiful Loyola Marymount University campus!

This family friendly event includes a 5K and 1K, after race expo featuring activities, giveaways and a pancake breakfast. The festivities will also include live music and a DJ to kick-off the fun at 8 a.m.

This event brings the entire WISH community together to raise money while promoting health and wellness.  Every single registration dollar associated with our school goes directly to WISH to support the WISH athletics program.

How to Register

Pick which of the WISH schools you’d like to support from the links listed below.  The more WISH participants each school signs up, the more funds WISH will raise to support our important programs!  You can participate in 3 ways:

• As a walker or runner in the 5K
• As a walker or runner in the 1K kids run
• As a Virtual runner... you don't even need to be there to participate. Participants who can’t attend but want to in spirit can make a $20 donation to support our school! Anyone you know can participate on race day or can be a virtual runner. Simply share one of the WISH school links or your individual participation page and every dollar goes to WISH.

Training

Coach Casey, Coach Damien, Coach Martinez, Coach Neuss and Coach Samela will be leading training for our WISH Community!  Follow our 4 week training schedule HERE. You can also join our challenge on Strava by selecting WISH Rock, Roll and Run.

Due to the weather, we will NOT have a training session this Wednesday. Our first training session will be this Thursday, 2/8 at Westchester Park. Show up any time between 2-3pm. Enter from the Lincoln Parking Lot. 

Wear WISH Wear

Buy a WISH ROCKS T-shirt to wear on race day and support our program. This year’s special design was created by local artist and long time WISH supporter Lynda Modaff! Proceeds from t-shirt sales also go to support WISH Athletics so buy your WISH Rocks Shirt HERE.

Volunteer

We need your help to make this event possible!  Each participating school must provide 5 adult volunteers. LAX Chamber will send a signup to all participants to choose their duty which may include packet pickup before the event or day of, race set-up, race clean-up, helping on the course, etc.

WISH Students can also volunteer and receive service hours. There are volunteer opportunities both before the event and at the event.
