Welcome to WISH Athletics! I am Casey Wilson, known to most as simply, Coach Casey. I started the WISH sports program in 2014 with just one soccer, track and cheer team. Evolution Sports was then launched in 2015 to continue providing competitive sports programs to the students at WISH Charter.  Over the past 10 years, we have grown to include over 35 competitive teams across 14 sports in the FIYA League open to all 3rd-8th grade students at WISH. 

WISH also offers a sports development program for our TK-5th grade students which is a non-competitive weekly program where our students have the opportunity to learn and develop in a fun and positive environment. We are also happy to be partners with Hot Shots Tennis who provide both development and competitive opportunities to our students. Additionally, we run the Robotics program which includes FIRST LEGO League and Botball. We also partner with Act II, led by Eve Keller, to provide musical theater to our WISH community.

In 2017, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the development for our new WISH Academy High School and started the sports program as the High School Athletic Director. We began our first year with one Girls Volleyball team and one Boys Basketball team. We have since grown to include JV and Varsity teams and offer Girls Flag Football, Girls and Boys Volleyball, Girls and Boys Basketball, Girls and Boys Soccer, Boys Tennis, Cross Country, Track, Swim, Baseball, Girls Beach Volleyball and Cheer within the Ocean League of CIF City Section.

I couldn’t be more proud of our student athletes and all of their accomplishments over the years. And a huge thank you to all of our amazing coaches who have dedicated AND CONTINUE TO DEDICATE so much of their time and passion to our program.
