Please note that even excused absences may incur attendance letters should your child accrue absences above the federal chronic absence rate. Please visit our attendance webpage for more information.

WISH's Short-Term Independent Study (STIS) process has changed for the 25-26 school year. You should have received an annual contract. If you have not received the contract, please reach out to the main office via our Help Center by chosing the "General Help" Issue Type.

Students are eligible for fifteen (15) school days of independent study for the school year. If your child is able to complete basic schoolwork while they are absent, please have them start on the first day of their absence. Teachers will be working with them directly upon their return to school.

If you select Yes, your child needs to complete any work assigned to them for the school day that they are on independent study listed in their Canvas tiles. Then, using the ISP Form link https://wishcharter.org/ispformhs, they need to show evidence to their teacher by uploading evidence of work completed on to this form. Your child's teacher will check in with them directly in Advisory to review the evidence of work completed on the Google form.
