Return to School 2020-2021 Information

We have many folks working together to ensure a safe return to our campuses next month. The Return to School Committee comprised of administrators, teachers, parents, paraprofessionals, office and facilities staff, and our human resources staff are meeting weekly to develop ideas and refine plans based on new information and a commitment to safely return to campus for the greatest amount of time possible.

WISH RIGHT NOW Is now open for summer fun

WISH is excited to launch our summer of entertainment and enrichment programs. From musical performances, cooking and art classes, comedy nights to rich discussions on a variety of topics, we look forward to bringing all communities together in exciting ways. These programs are also fundraising initiatives to support our educators who are being severely impacted by drastic state and local budget cuts. Every dollar raised goes directly to maximize every scholar’s learning potential.

WISH's amazing TK-8 school counselor, Ms. Trisha, has launched her new website for students, families, staff and teachers. She is sharing activities, videos, webinars, and even resources for virtual summer camps! Ms. Trisha's School Counseling Virtual Office will be updated regularly, so be sure to check back for the latest and greatest information.

P-EBT Cards for Eligible NSLP Families

During school closures the California Department of Social Services will be issuing additional food benefits to families who participate in the National School Lunch Program. Families who are approved via Direct Certification, are part of the CAL-FRESH program, receive Medi-Cal benefits or benefits associated with Foster-Care or Homeless Programs will automatically receive these cards between May 8th and May 22nd. Families who provided WISH with paper applications at any time prior to March 2020 and were approved for the FRLP benefit will need to complete an online application. This application will be available on May 22nd and must be completed prior to June 30th to be eligible to receive funds.
