WISH Renaissance Fair and Shakespeare Festival

On November 5, students at WISH Charter School culminated a six-week Shakespeare residency by performing scenes from A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as Elizabethan rounds and dances, at the WISH Charter Renaissance Fair, a celebratory festival complete with music, food, games, and full of happy families in creative costumes. In light of the exciting partnership between WISH Charter and Theatricum Botanicum, culminating in a full-school celebration including scenes, music, and dance from A Midsummer Night's Dream, performed by our talented WISH students, we are getting a close look at how arts education works across curriculum to strengthen our children's skills, broaden their creative thinking, and increase their confidence levels.
