Do you want to get the inside scoop on what REALLY happened at Bands and Brews? Did you know about the Middle School clubs? Check out the October issue of the WISH Insider to read about these events as well as many others!
It's been an amazing start to our school year and the Insider Team has been busy capturing some of those highlights! We hope you enjoy reading it and if you are interested in joining the team, please contact our editor, Christie Kobata.
The Emerson Avenue Community Garden (the lovely garden our school uses on the Orville Wright campus) had to cancel their July movie night due to a thunderstorm, but it has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 22. Come see the movie Paddington under the stars. Suggested donation: Adults $5, Kids $3. Gate opens at 7pm, movie starts at sundown. Hot chocolate, popcorn and baked goods will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the garden.
Now that school's out for summer, it's time for WISH to reflect back on the successes of this last year, and to make plans for improvements next year. We need the help of all of our WISH families to provide feedback so that we can serve you better.
The newsletter team is very excited to roll out our last issue of the Insider for the 2014-2015 school year! We hope you have enjoyed reading about all the amazing events that have occurred this year. This issue covers WISH's Teacher Eddy Award winner, Annual Project and Science Fair, and also debuts the new format which really makes the photos pop. The WISH Insider team thanks you for reading and hopes you have a fabulous summer! We'll be back in the fall!

There is so much for our WISH community to be proud of! Check out the April/May Insider to read about the great experience the middle school students had with the LMU baseball team and at astrophysics camp, learn about our new sport archery, and get to know our fabulous second grade teacher, Mrs. Doucette. Ellen Goldfarb also shares about the nutrition awareness program that she and Coach Casey conducted. Miss Courtney has also been very busy helping the students prepare for the upcoming art gallery. WISH is competing to register the most participants for the Race to Success 5K and Kids' 1K at LMU on Saturday, April 25, 2015. You can help by registering to walk/run in this fun community event, or sign up as a "virtual runner" to help our cause!
