Afterschool Programs

WISH offers many opportunities for student learning and engagement after school. We partner with several experienced organizations to ensure that our young people have a wide range of developmentally interesting and appropriate activities after school, and have access to childcare before school.

Elementary School Before-School Care
WISH Elementary will be offering a before-school care option this year for families who need it. Drop off will be from 7:00-7:15 at the front gate for temperature checks, School Pass, and valet. At 7:15 students will be walked to the yard for early yard supervision. Please note that if your child arrives after 7:15 there will be no morning care staff available and they will have to wait outside the gate, unsupervised, to enter campus until the regular 8:05 arrival for school. If you are interested, please feel free to email Principal Oney at  joney@wishcharte
r.org.

TK/K GAP
Gap is a one-hour program from 2:00-3:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday designed to give the TK/K students a place to play while their siblings are finishing up their school day.
*Please note: this program is only offered to our TK and Kindergarten students with a sibling at WISH.
If you are interested, please email Principal Oney at [email protected].

West LA Extended Day After School Child Care and Enrichment Classes
West LA Extended Day is the after school child care program that serves WISH students in grades TK-5 on the WISH Elementary campus. We are open after school until 6:00 pm. We are closed on all non-school days. We help students with homework, provide a nutritious snack, and plan fun-filled games and activities. Our staff is filled with experienced, loving, and caring teachers.  We also offer many one-hour enrichment classes throughout the school year such as coding, ceramics, art, lego robotics, and Spanish.

Enrollment for all child care programs for the 2022-2023 school year is now open! Returning families need to pick up an enrollment packet. Packets can be picked up at the WISH Elementary main office (be sure to call ahead to check summer hours). Click here for rates.

New families (including new siblings) need to set up a new family orientation. The in-person orientation lasts about 20-30 minutes. We suggest you pick up an enrollment packet and complete it prior to your orientation session. Packets can be picked up at the WISH Elementary main office (be sure to call ahead to check summer hours).

Please note adults must be fully vaccinated or have a current negative COVID-19 test to come onto campus

You can email Mrs. Doucette (at the address below) to confirm which day you are available for an orientation:

* Friday, August 5 @ 9:00, 12:00, or 3:00 (same day as Kinder assessment day)
* Saturday, August 6 @ 9:00 (you can help with WISH outdoor beautification day)
* Friday, August 12 @ 3:00 (same day as meet the teacher day)

Evolution Sports
Serving grades TK-12

Administrator: Casey Wilson

Evolution sports runs all of the competitive teams at the WISH schools.  In grades TK-8, students compete with local private and charter schools on a myriad of teams including volleyball, soccer, track, robotics, dance, theatre, basketball, and more. Students at WISH Academy participate in the CIF league on a variety of teams. Multiple teams are created if there is a need, for the same sport so many students can participate and play on a competitive school team. http://wish.evolutionsports.org/
